Why is Spring and Summer so hard to me

You know what? Life can be sometimes really cruel. I mean it. For example – here are so many teen moms in this World that were having sex for fun, no biggie. At the same time there are so many women that would give nearly everything in his World to be able to have one child. Like me …

It’s very interesting how easy it is to get pregnant for those, who don’t wish to have children. And other way around. Conceiving is not really an easy job! You really have to be very lucky (or unlucky if you wish) to get pregnant. According to medical researches there are just about 3-4 days in a month to “score”. And yet, so many unwanted pregnancies there are.

It’s really hard to go through spring and summer for women like myself. All those pregnant women on the streets, children running around parks, fathers pushing prams.

I am not going to bore you with details. It’s more than enough if I say April 2013 is the 19^th month we failed.

Is Matalan trying hard enough?

Hello everybunny (Easter’s coming!)

I have been recently invited to prelaunch of Matalan’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection. I have been very excited, as there wasn’t very much going on about fashion in Stoke area in past few months. And no, sales are not main events :)

So the entire fair took place in Tunstall Matalan, ST6 area. I’m pretty sure it was one of hundreds of fairs like nationwide. Frankly, I’ve been expecting a little bit more glit&glam as for a brand doing a pretty good job for UK girls fashion wise. Maybe I was just spoiled with my previous experience. Dear Matalan Tunstall, if you wish to organise a truly WOW introduction to your collection Fall/Winter 2013, don’t hesitate to give a shout.

At the entrance I have been greeted with a hand full of snacks and a soft drink, as well as catalogue for click&collect offers by Matalan. I have quickly run through it, to discover many new and fresh ideas for coming seasons. I will share my favourites with you here. Please, be kind to note, this isn’t any type of advertisement, purely my own impression of new collection available in store.

I will start here with girls’ thing :)

What I was interested in at first were of course shorts and tees. I found them in catalogue sent to me few days before the introduction. Fab offer said if I buy jeans shorts, I shall get a free ladies’ top. On arrival I was very much disappointed to discover, that those products (tees) were unavailable as they didn’t match Matalan’s quality expectations. Once again – dear Matalan, I’ve got some good news for you, my tees, my own, homemade tops, would be very much suitable for your requirements and I’m pretty sure you customers would think so too.

So instead of purchasing shorts + tee I went for bikini. Yes, I’m pretty sure that was a very wise idea, specifically because of fantastic aura outside. But I thought to myself – if I buy bikini, it’s like I’m buying an early holidays :D Among huge range of bikinis I eventually went for this one:

Of course there were different, colourful ones, but I’ve decided to go along up-coming trend for nautic elements and ornaments. Can you imagine how this would look like with pareo in red? I certainly can! Entire bikini cost closed in £10.

Other than that, I got myself two basic tops, which were coming in a bargain offer 2 for 1 that night.

My partner was much more lucky that night. Even though he wasn’t with me there, he got presented to quite a shopping bag of t-shirts. You know how it is – if you don’t get them, they won’t either. Luckily I managed to spot his taste quick enough. Since then it’s me and the shopping. Below you can find those I’ve chosen for my Mr Right:

Every each one of them didn’t cost more than £5 that night. Please be aware these prices I give you are valid if you own a black Matalan club card. You can find some of other things I liked, but didn't buy this time:

There would be much much more in hat shopping bag, if Mr Right was there and could try shorts, shoes and other things on. After buying few more things for my lovely new home, I’ve left the shop with a bill of about £60, which I find very good as I remember my usual shopping carts (excess of £100).

Overall opinion on event – 5* out of 10*

Offer opinion – 7* out of 10*

I would still recommend the shop for everyday needs.

Hello there!!

I have recently been visiting Poland and of course couldn't resist going shopping.
There's loads of new trends and undiscovered fresh designers, especially in Lodz area (central Poland).

Beside individual creations there is also one well known brand - Pretty Girl.

Hello my precious

There we are in a new year. Let's make it clear - this has to be our time. I have decided to make it especially my own and I shall invest a lot of time and work in my ideas. I know they're worth it.

For example, pretty soon I'm launching a collection of clothes and underwear especially for up coming spring. It will definitely be a fresh breeze to Stoke-On-Trent, but surely not only.

Below you can find a very small part of graphics revealed. For full presentation I'm afraid you will have to wait a little bit longer.

Great news is that all my garments will fit price range £10 or less!!! How cool is that???
The only thing to do to get those bargain prices is to like Do Fashion on Facebook.

Not a New Year resolution

Ok Ok I won’t be innovative – Happy New Year !!!

I really hope this year will be much more amazing and full of great experiences than the last one. Not that I’m complaining on lack of excitement in 2012. Hell no.

So I’m just looking around all those people in the office environment. Most of them happy-sad, miserable, grey and … lacking personality? Yeah, I guess that would be it. So as you can see today my post will be quite personal. I don’t want to become them!!!

Somebody save me from this terrific routine of shifts, pattern jobs, going through same all over and over again. To be fair – it all looks exactly the same as every other day. One gets up, one drives to work, one talk same stuff over the phone. Yeah, call centre – one happy, loving family.

I could see happy people, full of courage and fresh ideas turning into grumpy sad dwarfs of corporate processes. OMG, no no no, not me. You know there are different steps of life, everybody makes mistakes. One of mine was getting a job, a regular full time job. What the hell I was thinking?

Oh, right – I’m going to get a job, settle down, have a stabile life. I will have to go out to people every day, that will make me dress up, do my makeup. Somebody hit me – how wrong I was!

So I have decided 2013 will be my year of changes. This is going to be my year. And it has nothing to do with New Year resolutions, as we have to face it – we never keep them! I am going to make a difference to my life. In 2013, sooner or later, but I will make it happen.

Good morning everybunny!

Hopefully your Christmas time was full of presents, family laughter and good memories will last forever. Now we’re heading toward the most fun part of the year – New Year’s party and carnival.

Most of us probably will attend house held fairs among friends or fellow citizens. Maybe, alike me, you’re living in one of Victorian terrace houses or going to spend that last night on the year in one of those.

I’ve been recently giving a lot of thought to those type of houses. I really think many of them are being underestimated or even unappreciated. This is why I’ve decided to show you few examples of stylish Victorian terrace houses here on my blog. Loads of them have been converted in different ways, extended or transformed with imagination worth of great architectures.
